Vegan Mini Chocolate Chips
Sometimes only mini chocolate chips will do! Vegan ones can be soooo hard to find in Malaysia, though! Actually these are the first I’ve found.
These are great for mini cookies, cookie dough balls, vegan cookie dough dip (I like to make it from chickpeas!), sprinkling on ice cream, and for decorating cakes, cookies, etc.
Here are the ingredients on the original packaging: sugar, cocoa mass, cocoa butter, dextrose, emulsifier (soya lecithin), natural vanilla
They have a minimum cocoa content of 44%. The original package gives the typical warning about “may contain traces of nuts or dairy”. This does NOT mean they contain dairy, it means they are produced in a place that also makes products that contain dairy and nuts. So if a person has a severe allergy to either it’s best to steer clear. But the chips themselves are dairy free and vegan.
Here are the ingredients from the original packaging:
You will get 200g of mini chocolate chips (about 1 cup) in a reusable plastic container. I tried seeing if I could package them in little paper bags (better for the environment), but the bag ripped too easily. Please reuse the container and recycle when it can no longer be used.
