Vegan Garlic Herb Cashew Cheese Block - Low Fat, No Oil
This vegan garlic herb style cheese is flavorful and versatile! It is made from a base of cashews and has no oil, so it is a lower fat option compared to our original vegan cheeses. Great for those who want some nondairy cheese, but are also looking for a lower calorie/low fat option!
It slices, grates, and gets nice and gooey/melty! It does not melt quite as easily as our original vegan cheeses due to there being no oil. It does not have quite the same richness to it, but it is still very tasty and a nice addition to your meals and snacks!
I use four herbs in this flavorful cheese - basil, oregano, thyme and rosemary. This snacking cheese is great on crackers and with fruit. It is also delicious on pasta, pizza, sandwiches, grilled cheese, salads, casseroles, and more!
For a 1oz (28g) serving our original vegan cheddar cheese has 6.2g of fat and 71 calories. This cashew based cheese has 1.8g of fat and 31 calories. (In case you are wondering, dairy cheddar has 9.3g of fat and 113 calories).
