Vegan Fiesta Style Crumbles
These savory fiesta style vegan crumbles have some Mexican spices and are extremely versatile! They are precooked, but taste best when they have been sautéed before using them in a recipe. Dice up an onion (and garlic and/or mushrooms if you wish) and cook the crumbles in 1-2T oil until lightly browned. Then add the rest of your ingredients. These work awesome in:
- Burrito Filling
- Macaroni Dishes
anywhere you would have used ground meat
About 350g (as much as you would get from about a pound of ground meat. So if a recipe called for 1 pound ground beef, use the whole packet of this)
Keep in the fridge for up to a week, or in the freezer for several months. No MSG, all natural ingredients!
