Vegan Chocolate Dream Ice Cream
Looking for something cool and creamy on a hot day? A sweet cold scoop to add to the top of some cake or brownies? This ultimate smooth and DREAMY chocolate vegan chocolate ice cream is perfect!
For most of my ice creams you get to choose how you want it sweetened, but this one comes as is. I start by melting vegan dark Belgian chocolate and blend it into a base of coconut milk, fresh almond or sesame milk, and cashews.
This is such a luscious and special ice cream! If I had to pick one of my ice creams to give to a non vegan, this would be it. They would seriously NEVER know that this isn’t dairy ice cream. This is actually one of my very favorite ice creams and reminds me of premium chocolate ice creams of expensive brands!
The full fat coconut milk gives this ice cream a rich and creamy feel. I use fresh made almond or sesame milk for part of the milk, so the ice cream doesn’t taste too much like coconut, and blended cashews are added for extra creaminess.
The sweetness of this ice cream comes partly from the chocolate (it is 55% cocoa dark chocolate) with a bit added gula melaka. That’s it!

Not that anyone needs telling how to enjoy ice cream, but here are some of our favorite ways!

- With granola or crackers sprinkled on top.
- On top of some vegan brownies
- With birthday cake!
- In an ice cream cone
- Smashed between two vegan cookies
- With chocolate sauce on top
Ice cream base:Coconut milk, almond or sesame milk, vegan dark Belgian chocolate, raw cashews, gula melaka (coconut sugar), cocoa powder, natural vanilla extract, pinch of himalayan salt
