Vegan Beefy Style Crumbles
These savory beefy style vegan crumbles are extremely versatile! They are precooked, but taste best when they have been sautéed before using them in a recipe. Dice up an onion (and garlic and/or mushrooms if you wish) and cook the crumbles in 1-2T oil until lightly browned. Then add the rest of your ingredients. These work awesome in:
- Sloppy Joes
- Spaghetti Bolognese
- Shepherd’s Pie
- Taco or Burrito Filling
- Beefy Stroganoff
- Macaroni Dishes
- anywhere you would have used ground meat
About 350g (as much as you would get from about a pound of ground meat. So if a recipe called for 1 pound ground beef, use the whole packet of this)
Keep in the fridge for up to a week, or in the freezer for several months. No MSG, all natural ingredients!
