When I first became a vegetarian there was one type of meat I knew I would miss more than any other – salami! The super flavorful deli meat/sausage was my favorite on sandwiches or with cheese and crackers. So after awhile I decided to make my own! Over the years I’ve tweaked the recipe and it’s definitely one of my favorites. It’s irresistible, I can’t stop eating it!!
It is precooked, so you can slice and eat it cold, or heat it up if desired (heat in frying pan or microwave - frying pan gives better texture). It is excellent on sandwiches, pizza, salads, and more!
Keep in the fridge for up to a week, or in the freezer for several months. You can slice it up and freeze in portions. No MSG, all natural ingredients!
Choose a whole log (500+g) or a half log (250+g)
vital wheat gluten, water, tomato paste, nutritional yeast, soy sauce, sunflower oil, garlic powder, onion powder, spices, herbs and salt.
