Vegan Greek Cashew Cheese - Low Fat No Oil
Vegan Greek cheese is an excellent snacking and cooking cheese. This non dairy cheese slices, grates, melts, and gets nice and gooey! This cheese is inspired by Greek style salads which often feature cheese, kalamata olives, and fresh and/or sundried tomatoes. This snacking cheese is great on crackers and in salads. It is also delicious on pasta, pizza, sandwiches, grilled cheese, casseroles, and more!
This low fat version of the Greek cheese is made from a base of cashews and has no added oil (there is a very small amount of oil in the sundried tomatoes, but none actually added to the cheese), so it is a lower fat option compared to our original vegan cheeses. Great for those who want some nondairy cheese, but are also looking for a lower calorie/low fat option!
It slices, grates, and gets nice and gooey/melty! It does not melt quite as easily as our original vegan cheeses due to there being no oil. It does not have quite the same richness to it, but it is still very tasty and a nice addition to your meals and snacks!
This special cheese costs slightly more than our other block cheeses, as we use quality sundried tomatoes and kalamata olives. The block of cheese weighs at least 260g, about 20g more than our other blocks of cheese.
